Story 6: Leo, Pip and the Playground Swing — OUTSIDE!

Outside: Playground swings, slide, sandpit · 8 words one per day · AI Pre-Literacy

1. Story — Text-Based (Day 1-2: Imagination Studio)

Read this with NO pictures first. Child becomes illustrator.

At playground, swings went whoosh! Children laughed.

Leo said Voice Command: ‘Pip, push me!’ Motion Sensor felt movement — swing goes forward, back, forward, back.

Pattern: forward, back, forward, back repeats same way. Timer — tiny clock — counted how long Leo swung: 10, 20, 30 seconds. Data: how high, how fast.

Pip made Prediction: if you push hard, you go high! On slide, Gyroscope kept Pip balanced — like inner ear. Speaker cheered: ‘Whee!’

Then sandpit with Pattern towers — tall, short, tall, short. Playground full of Sensors and Timers.

2. Image 1 — Association Anchor (Day 3-4)

Top of Image 1 — This is what you just read, now you can see it.

Playground with swings, Leo on swing, Pip pushing, slide behind, Motion Sensor feeling movement forward back, Timer counting

3. What is the purpose of this Image 1?

Purpose: To ANCHOR what child imagined in Days 1-2 to a direct picture.

Direct resemblance to playground swing text — OUTSIDE. Shows sunny playground with swings set, Leo on swing going forward, small blue robot Pip pushing, slide behind, green grass, other children. Motion Sensor icon near swing showing forward-back movement feeling, Timer counting 10,20,30 seconds, Data how high. Direct anchor for Voice Command, Motion Sensor, Pattern (forward back), Timer, Data, Prediction, Gyroscope, Speaker. Life outside.

Use Day 3-4: Day 3-4: Where is Motion Sensor? What Pattern forward back? Where is Timer counting? What Data high? Where is Gyroscope on slide keeping balance?
