AI Hunt – 10 Rooms • Find the AI Gadgets!

AI Hunt is a room-based hidden-object AI pre-literacy game converted from Question Hunt logic, designed for children aged 3-8 to learn AI vocabulary through play.

The child visits 10 familiar home rooms — Kitchen, Bedroom, Living Room, Bathroom, Garden, Garage, Attic, Hallway, Playroom, Laundry. Each room has a beautiful inline SVG illustration in rich pastel colors that works perfectly on smartphones with no external images to load.

In each room, there are 5 objects: 3 AI gadgets that demonstrate the room’s AI term + 2 ordinary household items as distractors. Each object shows its name and its term badge directly below the icon, so children don’t have to guess from the icon alone.

• Tap an AI gadget → Celebration: “YES! Smart Speaker has MEMORY!” Counts as 1/3 found
• Tap ordinary item → Gentle feedback: “Good guess! Socks are ordinary—no AI MEMORY, just warm feet!” Does NOT count, encourages to keep hunting

Each room’s question directly links the AI term to the object, e.g., “Which 3 gadgets HAVE MEMORY?” — If the term is MEMORY, the child must find which 3 AI gadgets have memory.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this AI pre-literacy game, children will be able to:

1. Recognize 10 core AI vocabulary terms and explain each in simple words
2. Differentiate AI vs non-AI objects—understand which everyday gadgets use AI and which are ordinary
3. Connect AI concepts to real life—Model = recipe, Memory = bedroom remembers you, Vision = eyes see flower, etc.
4. Build AI literacy foundation—Understand how AI reads (Token), remembers (Memory), sees (Vision), hears (Voice), sorts (Classification), thinks (Inference), creates (Generation)
5. Develop observation and categorization skills through hunt gameplay

How to Play:

For Children:

1. Look at the room picture and read the question at top: e.g., “Which 3 gadgets USE A MODEL (recipe)? Find them!”
2. Tap on objects in the room. Each object shows:
   • Emoji + Name (e.g., Recipe App)
   • Term badge: Bright yellow = AI term (e.g., MODEL) or Gray = Ordinary
3. If you tap an ordinary item: It says “Good guess! This is ordinary, not AI. Keep hunting!” — try another!
4. If you tap an AI gadget: Celebration popup! “YES! MODEL! This gadget USES A MODEL!” → It counts as 1/3 and gets a ✓
5. Find 3 AI gadgets with the room’s AI term to unlock Next Room button
6. Tap “Parents Clue” if you need help — shows what the AI term means and what to say to child
7. After 3 found, tap “Next Room → Ready! 🎉” or the celebration popup to go to next room
8. Complete all 10 rooms → Trophy! “AI Hunt Master! 30 AI clues found!” → Play Again or Exit to Home

For Parents / Teachers:

• Use the “Parents Clue” button — it gives you: AI Term definition, what to SAY to child, and an activity prompt
• Ask: “Which of these HAS MEMORY?” Let child reason, don’t just tap randomly
• After each room, ask child to repeat: “What is MODEL? Model is AI’s brain like recipe!”
