Story 1: Leo and Pip, the Smart Helper

Home base — cozy bedroom evening · 8 words one per day · AI Pre-Literacy

1. Story — Text-Based (Day 1-2: Imagination Studio)

Read this with NO pictures first. Child becomes illustrator.

Leo had a small blue robot named Pip.

One evening, Pip’s light blinked low. ‘Oh no, my Battery is low,’ said Pip. A Battery is a tiny power box inside that helps robots move and think. When Battery is low, Pip moves slowly and feels sleepy.

Leo and Pip were sitting on a fluffy rainbow rug in cozy bedroom. On shelf, teddy bear with orange scarf, soft blocks, green plant. Bunny and friends in basket.

Leo pressed Pip’s Touchscreen. Touchscreen is screen you touch with finger to talk to device.

Leo said with clear Voice Command, ‘Pip, please sort my toys.’ Voice Command is when you talk to device to tell what to do.

Pip’s Sensor felt toys. Sensor feels light and movement like skin feels warm and cool.

Pip tried to make Pattern — star, car, rings — but made mistake: star, car, car! Oh no!

Leo smiled, ‘It’s okay to make mistakes. Let’s try Correction.’ Correction means fixing mistake to try again. Together they fixed it.

Pip followed Algorithm — step-by-step recipe: look, pick, place, check.

Outside window, evening houses glowed warm lights. On wall, picture of moon and star twinkled. Lamp glowed warm.

At night, Pip saved toy Pattern to Cloud — safe invisible remembering place.

Leo hugged Pip. Even smart helpers need rest, friends, and Correction.

2. Image 1 — Association Anchor (Day 3-4)

Top of Image 1 — This is what you just read, now you can see it.

Cozy bedroom evening, Leo on fluffy rainbow rug with Pip, Battery orange low, sleepy blue eyes, sweat drop, toys star car stacking rings, teddy bear with scarf, bunny basket, lamp, window night houses, moon star picture

3. What is the purpose of this Image 1?

Purpose: To ANCHOR what child imagined in Days 1-2 to a direct picture.

Direct resemblance to Story 1 text — NOT festival. Shows Leo’s cozy bedroom at evening: Leo on fluffy rainbow rug in blue sweater and overalls, Pip small blue robot with Battery indicator orange low on chest, blue glowing sleepy eyes, small blue sweat drop on antenna, toys on rug — yellow knitted star pillow, stacking rings, red wooden car — for Sorting and Pattern. Shelf with teddy bear orange scarf, blocks, green plant, bunny in basket, books. Warm lamp on side table, couch with knitted blanket, window showing evening houses with lights on, framed picture of moon, star, cloud.

Use Day 3-4: Point and name Day 3-4: Where is Battery? What color when low? Where is Sensor? Touchscreen? What Pattern? What is outside window? Child confirms imagination.
