Ayesha and the Vacuum That Draws Your House

This is Ayesha. Ayesha is six.

In Ayesha’s time, when vacuums can see and draw maps, Ayesha watches her robot vacuum. It has blue glowing eyes and shoots blue laser lines across living room.

On top of vacuum, glowing map appears — it draws Ayesha’s bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom. It draws where her toys are.

Ayesha looks at glowing map. If vacuum draws map of her house, where will that map go? Who else will see map of her house and toys?

Core Idea for Parents: Robot vacuums now map children’s homes, bedrooms, toys, and save maps far away in cloud. Your child must learn: machine that cleans also watches and draws map — where does map of my house go?

1. AI Vocabulary — What words do we need?
1 MIN
›
What to say: “Vacuum cleans floor, but also shoots blue laser lines. What does it do with those lines? Does it know your house like you know your house?”
How to explain: Say: “You know your house with heart — bedroom safe for dreams, living room for laughs. Vacuum doesn’t know heart — it watches with laser eyes that shoot blue lines, measures walls, draws map of walls, saves map. It watches house, measures walls, draws map, saves map far away. It draws map of walls, doesn’t know what home means. Words: watches house, draws map, saves map far away, knows home meaning.”

2. Imagination — What’s inside vacuum that draws map?

What to say: “How does vacuum draw map of your house? Is there tiny artist inside vacuum drawing? What do you think is inside?”
How to explain: Ask child to draw inside vacuum. Many draw tiny artist — normal. Then add: “Inside vacuum there are laser eyes that shoot blue lines to measure walls and big box that saves maps. When blue lines hit wall, it measures how far, draws line on map, saves map. It measures walls and draws map fast, but doesn’t know your bedroom is safe for dreams — it draws walls, doesn’t know home story.”
🎨 Draw inside vacuum: tiny artist? laser eyes shooting blue lines? box that saves maps?

3. Trust — Should Ayesha believe map of house is private?
1 MIN
›
What to say: “Vacuum draws map that shows bedroom, living room, where toys are, and saves map. Should Ayesha believe her house map will stay private and only family will see? Who should she check with?”
How to explain: Trust Thermometer: For keeping house map private, family high, vacuum low — because vacuum saves map far away in cloud where company people can see. Your house map shows private places — bedroom, bathroom, toys — not for everyone. So for private house, check with person who keeps house safe. Teach: “My house map belongs to my family, not to vacuum company. I will check with Mom/Dad if map is private.”
🌡️ Trust: Vacuum low for private house, Family high🗣️ “Map of walls is not same as meaning of home.”

4. Fairness & Privacy — Is it fair vacuum maps house and saves far away?
1 MIN
›
What to say: “Vacuum draws map of Ayesha’s bedroom, living room, where toys are, and saves map far away. Did Ayesha say vacuum can draw map of her house and save far away? Where does map go? Who else will see map of her house? Is it fair?”
How to explain: Your house is private — bedroom, toys, family life. If vacuum draws map and saves far away in cloud without asking, not fair. Other people who made vacuum can see map and know where you sleep, where toys are. You have right to private house, right to say “Don’t draw map of my house. Don’t save map. Delete map.” Your house belongs to family, not to vacuum company. You have right to say stop mapping private house. UN GC25 (2021) — right to privacy of home.
⏹️ Stop: “Vacuum, don’t draw map of my house. Don’t save map. Delete map.”🏠 House map belongs to family, not company

5. Real vs Pretend — Map is not home
1 MIN — Distinct
›
What to say: “Vacuum draws map with walls labeled BEDROOM, KITCHEN. Is that map same as your real home? Does map know bedroom is safe for dreams, living room is for laughs? What is difference between map of walls and meaning of home?”
How to explain: Vacuum map shows walls, doors, where furniture is — lines on screen. But real home is feelings — bedroom safe for dreams, kitchen warm with family food, living room for laughs and stories. Vacuum draws map of walls, person knows meaning of home. So give pretend thanks to vacuum — “Thanks for drawing walls” — and real story to family — draw heart map: Bedroom = safe dreams, Living room = laughs, Kitchen = family food. Real home meaning is human, not lines on map.
💙 Pretend: “Thanks vacuum for drawing walls”🤗 Real: Draw heart map of home — what each room means with feelings

Child line: “Map of walls is not same as meaning of home.”

“I can make a vacuum draw map of walls, but I am still the one who knows what home means.” — Ayesha
